Robert “Chuck” Baker


Robert “Chuck” Baker was commissioned into the US Army through the Reserve Officer Training Corps. Following his final assignment as the Professor of Military Science for the Eastern Michigan ROTC Battalion, he retired from the US Army after serving 20 years on active duty.

His military career includes a broad variety of impactful assignments around the globe including leadership positions within operational and human resources commands.

After retiring from the Army, Chuck began his civilian human resources career at Amcor Rigid Packaging serving in successively larger HR and talent management leadership positions serving the global enterprise. Chuck also served as VP of Operations & HR for a multi-site fitness franchise. Currently, he serves as the HR Director at BB&E Consulting Engineers and Professional Services.

Chuck holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Aviation Management with Flight from the Florida Institute of Technology, a Master’s of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certificate from the Human Resources Certification Institute.

Chuck’s extensive human resources-related experience in and out of uniform adds unique perspective and value to our mission.
